2012 New York: 2013 Toyota Venza Bows With More Attitude

2013-Toyota-Venza We knew a revised 2013 Toyota Venza was in the works following last month’s sneak peak photo of its headlight. Today, the automaker showed off the updated crossover in its entirety.

As expected, the most dramatic changes take place up front where the multi-slated grille has been replaced by a more simple, three-bar look—the waterfall effect, however, still remains. The headlights have been redesigned and will now include LED 2012 New York: 2013 Toyota Venza Bows With More Attitude imagedaytime running lamps for the range-topping Limited model. The lower air dam and fog lamp housings are redone as well, and now feature chrome-like trim for a more upscale look. Rounding off the exterior changes are updated taillights, a new 19-inch wheel design and three new paint colors: Attitude Black, Cypress Pearl, and Cosmic Gray Mica. A newly designed steering wheel appears to be the only interior upgrade for 2013.

Toyota also added standard features to the Venza depending on trim levels. For starters, the LE trim adds standard blind spot monitoring and outer mirror turn signals. The XLE gets a power-adjustable driver seat with memory, reverse-tilt side view mirrors, and Toyota’s Entune system. The range-topping Limited model gets the aforementioned LED daytime running lamps as well as a standard navigation system an upgraded sound system, and a V-6 only powertrain.

Under the hood, the 2013 Toyota Venza is unchanged. A 181-hp, 2.7-liter, four-cylinder serves at the base engine, while 3.5-liter, V-6 engine rated at 268 hp is optional. A six-speed automatic sends power to the front or all four wheels.
