The Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG is on sale now, with prices starting at £82,995.
The ML63 AMG is the high-performance, range-topping version of the 2012 M-Class range.
Power comes from a 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that develops 518bhp and 516lb ft of torque. An optional AMG Performance Package is available for £6165, which boosts power to 549bhp and torque to 561lb ft. It’s the first time a performance package has been available for the ML.
The ML63 AMG’s suspension and brakes have been uprated to match the increased power output, while standard equipment includes self-levelling air suspension and 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels.
The new ML 63 AMG is nearly 40% more economical than the previous model and emits almost 30% less CO2. These gains are thanks partly to a new seven-speed automatic transmission system and an engine stop/start function.
An optional Driver’s Package is available at £2820, which removes the 155mph top speed limiter and raises the top speed to 176mph. Buyers who opt for the package will also be invited to a Mercedes driver event.
